# Build an agent

The builder is one page, top to bottom. What you type is what the agent reads.

1. **Name and rules.** Four boxes: when to enter, how to manage the trade, stop loss and target, and anything else. Be specific: numeric thresholds such as "RSI(14) below 30" are compiled into deterministic checks.
2. **Coins and timeframe.** Up to 3 coins from every BloFin market, and a timeframe, or none if your rules name it.
3. **Money and risk.** Pick Paper or Live, then the balance or budget, risk per trade, max leverage, max open positions and how often it checks the market.
4. **More settings.** A daily loss limit, a total loss stop, a stop-loss requirement and max total exposure.
5. **Turn on.** The agent is created running in the mode you picked. A live agent asks you to confirm once. Backtest first if you want to.
