Central Command

Ichimoku Cloud Breakout, Daily

A built-in strategy on Central Command, tested on BloFin history. Held up in testing. 1D candles, long and short, category Trend Following.

Rules

Entry. On a closed daily candle, go long when the close crosses above the top of the cloud (the higher of Senkou A 9/26 and Senkou B 52, as drawn on that day), Tenkan(9) is above Kijun(26), and the close is above the close of 26 days ago (the lagging line is above price). Go short when the close crosses below the bottom of the cloud with all three the other way round.

Managing the trade. Close a long on a daily close below Kijun(26); close a short on a close above it.

Stop and target. Stop 2.5 x ATR(14) on the daily chart from the entry, never moved. No fixed target.

The cloud is shifted forward, as on the chart: the edges used are the ones drawn on the signal day.
