Funding Rate Contrarian

Entry method

Enter short when: (1) Funding rate exceeds +0.05% (extreme greed), (2) Open interest is at local high (past 24h), (3) Price is at resistance or showing bearish divergence on RSI. Enter long when: funding below -0.03%,

Position management

These are counter-trend trades — be conservative. Take quick profits. If funding normalizes (returns to 0.01-0.02%) close the trade regardless of P&L. If price moves 1% against you without funding dropping, close immediately (trend too strong).
